ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Sr. Brand Designer, this position, working as part of the Creative & Design team in conjunction with all marketing & channel stakeholders, will create visual solutions for brand needs across all owned and 3rd party channels including web content, advertising, emails, social, and coordinating agency toolkits with an emphasis on digitally native design. Ensures all design executions are aligned with the brand's evolving visual design language. This position is responsible for proactively managing and fulfilling individual project timelines, deliverables, communicating, and solving for any obstacles to fulfillment. Seeking a passionate graphic designer with a strong understanding of content design, campaign and advertising, typography, brand building and maintenance, supporting both eCommerce and Mass Retail. Experience working with and supporting UI/UX teams. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and execute immersive & engaging design for our .com ensuring designs attract and engage our consumer and our site aligns with our business strategy
Create new user experiences for acquisition & sales flows within our Shopify platform
Incorporate feedback & data into future designs ensuring that we are anchored in our brand, our consumer and site KPIs
Support the creative process & lead creative reviews with key stakeholders via mock-ups; A deep understanding of the omni channel brand experience and how products live in the wild amongst the competitive subset in both earned and 3rd party sites
Demonstrated success at showcasing and optimizing digital and ad experience for both new categories and expanding SKU variants
Collaborate within our creative team to ensure our brand and tone is reflected across all brand touchpoints; Creative alignment to business strategy is a critical part of this role 
Operational Hygiene: Helping us to keep our files updated, organized and searchable
Collaborate and communicate with key cross-functional partners throughout the design process and ensure deliverables meet time commitments without compromising design
Collaborate effectively with digital product, key business leads, and creative leadership to build engaging and contemporary brand experiences
Ability to work on multiple projects including quick sprints and larger, cross functional projects in partnership with Brand Marketing and Channel teams
Ability to present and recommend design options to VP and C-Level leadership 
Support template building and identify opportunities for more efficient delivery for omni digital assets

 

REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS Degree
5+ years of related industry experience
Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite, Sketch/Figma; Motion and 3D software experience a plus
UX/UI exposure/experience
Experience working with Shopify a plus but not required
Understanding of branding and brand building, e-commerce and best practices; ability to deliver immersive, on-brand, and highly engaging content for our site; experience developing and executing complex campaigns that span both digital and print activations
Experience with brand design systems with a strong sensibility for typography, composition, and messaging hierarchy
Strong portfolio that demonstrated expertise in branding, product design, packaging, e-commerce/website design, and marketing materials
High level of craftsmanship, organizational skills, and detail-oriented problem solving

POSITION TYPE:

This is a full-time exempt position. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is a hybrid role at our Headquarters in Marina Del Rey.

SALARY:

$120,000 - $135,000
