We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and occasionally deliver learning and practice experiences. The goal is to design programs that drive behavior change through practice and acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies.You will drive our collaborative process, connecting the dots between content experts, learners, and our L&D team. You will align educational goals with business strategy, with the autonomy to experiment with the best ways to achieve outcomes.We’re looking for someone to help take our learning content to the next level by designing content that drives results and raising the bar for teammates around you. Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis to get a thorough understanding of the business goals and the audience's needs. To do that, you can expect to: 
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business strategy and it’s implications on learning needs. 
Conduct instructional research and analysis with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs. 
Design and build comprehensive, multi-modal learning programs that delight learners and drive behavior change.
Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods. 
Create behavior-based learning objects leveraging Action Mapping and Kirkpatrick/Philips learning models
Create various learning materials including audio, video, eLearning, simulations, role plays, games, and more. 
Develop and maintain visual & instructional standards aligned with web accessibility standards from WCAG 2.1
Perpetually evaluate the effectiveness of instructional content and make adjustments based on results. That means you’ll
Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine the criteria for assessing learners’ performance. 
Develop assessment instruments to measure learning effectiveness in solving business problems. 
Use data collected to improve the overall learning design and individual training materials. 

Requirements: 

Proven working experience in instructional design and instructional technology
Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models that promote behavior change in adult learners. 
Experience lesson planning and writing curriculum to meet business learning needs
Solid knowledge of course development software (Articulate preferred) and at least one Learning Management System
Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc) and ability to storyboard
Excellent communication skills with an ability to gather complex requirements and translate those into highly accessible content
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts

Compensation:

Cash Compensation Range: $70,000-$110,000**Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
