ROLE OVERVIEW 

Are you a talented design visionary ready to make your mark on the world? At Brainly, we're on the lookout for a Lead IxD (Interaction) Product Designer who can help us revolutionize the user experience and take our products to new heights.

As the Lead IxD Product Designer within our dynamic Product Design and Strategy Team, you'll have a chance to wear many hats, including taking on the Domain Manager role for IxD Product Designers.

You'll be the driving force behind designing and building a unified Brainly product that offers a personalized, seamless user experience across all platforms.

Your role as a Lead IxD Product Designer helping them achieve world-class product design, HCI, and design system.

You'll have the opportunity to foster a strong design community, ensuring collaboration and visibility across product teams, while also co-creating design system standards, guidelines, and patterns.,Take on this exciting role and make a real impact, as you drive collaboration, visibility, and excellence across the IxD PD Community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Embrace the opportunity to co-lead strategic projects alongside Product Stakeholders, driving positive impact on user experience and measurable outcomes. As the Lead IxD Product Designer, you'll identify ways to enhance user experience while maximizing value propositions across devices and platforms, with a strong focus on mobile personalization.
Create emotional and physical high-level interaction concepts to ensure that the user finds our product trustworthy and engaging, yet easy to navigate. Support as Design CoE Domain Manager a talented team of IxD Product Designers across the company, fostering innovation, a robust design community, and exceptional design system, user interactions and experiences. Contribute to the levellings of IxD Product Designers. Support hiring processes of IxD Product Designers. 
Contribute your expertise by establishing design patterns, guidelines, and standards while mentoring and supporting the growth of fellow designers. Be their go-to person and representative for the design matters within the Design Center of Excellence.
Effectively communicate your ideas to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical, and actively participate in design community events, sharing knowledge and best practices. Join us in shaping Brainly's design culture and make a lasting impact on the future of product design.

 

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

At least 8 years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer
Experience of work in an iterative software development environment
Excellent interaction design and product design skills with a portfolio showing high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work.
Comprehensive knowledge of design patterns (and when to break them)
Expertise in design systems and creating responsive components
Expertise in the development of design, realistic prototyping, and motion
Expertise in interface design tools (we use Figma) and in prototyping tools (we use ProtoPie / Webflow)
Understanding of HTML and CSS, JavaScript
System thinker with the ability to work on complex cross-areas tasks and to take ownership of cross-area (cross-team) design tasks
Ability to solve problems together with the team as well as ability to take action and ownership
Ability to explain ideas and designs clearly and concisely to successfully convince, motivate and inspire stakeholders at all levels of understanding – from design-unaware business people to highly experienced designers
Proven ability to define and manage design efforts including operationalization of design outcomes
Proven ability to successfully lead design and product feature definition, scope assessment, estimation processes from loosely defined requirements to completion
Great communication skills; fluency in English, both written and verbal
Team player attitude
Ability to share knowledge through workshops and presentations
