About the role

We’re looking for a confident and creative Corporate Designer that can take, interpret and shape briefs to produce engaging, creative concepts and designs to work across a variety of platforms. With a joint reporting line to the Director of Events and Director of Communications, the Corporate Designer works across all Immediate’s Central Teams, including the People Team – incorporating Internal Events, PR and Comms, HR, Talent Acquisition, ED&I, Facilities and Learning & Development - on a broad range of design projects, presentations, reports, and campaigns. The role primarily creates marketing materials and presentations, across digital, print, social media, video, and other platforms, to support internal communications messaging, staff engagement events, as well as external-facing marketing, social media and press materials.

The role also includes maintaining Immediate’s brand guidelines, presentation templates, style guide and image gallery, and advising contacts around the business on best practice for using the Immediate brand logo and associated assets.

As a,Corporate Designer,you will;

Liaise with all Immediate’s Central Teams, including Immediate’s Leadership Team and Executive Chairman, the role involves working on the following projects:

Corporate Comms:

Regular All Hands PowerPoint presentations
Maintain and update image gallery
Ad-hoc reports & presentations
Social media assets to work across multiple channels
Maintain Immediate brand guidelines
Supporting materials for external award entries
Creative input on company website

Internal Comms:

IM Awards – create brand logo and associated marketing materials, update webpage, awards presentation deck and winners’ notifications
Create content to support internal comms messaging across a variety of channels, including print, video and digital
Create/curate content for screens around Vineyard House
Create templates for internal newsletters
Creative input on SharePoint intranet
Create business cards for all areas of the business upon request
Create and maintain brand assets for People Team’s initiatives, including IM Community, Outreach, Learning Week, IM Awards, IM Festival

Internal Events Team

Create marketing materials to promote internal events and social committee events throughout the year in print and digital
Devise and develop marketing assets for IM Festival and IM Festive, including email invites, webpage, animations, print assets (including posters, tickets, lanyards)
Devise and develop visual assets to promote all IM Community activity across multiple channels
Ad-hoc projects, including reader events, Radio Times Quizmas event, Top Gear awards

Ad-hoc reports & presentations

HR & Recruitment

Induction pack and presentations
Gender & Ethnicity Pay Reports
Email campaigns
Supporting our people initiatives through creative, design projects in talent acquisition, on-boarding, learning and development and reward and recognition and our employer brand.

Requirements

InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Trello, Canva, PowerPoint
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
Creative thinking to devise original and exciting visual concepts
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Solid knowledge of media production and communication
Excellent teamworking skills to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders
An understanding of the application of design across various digital and social platforms
Creativity and originality – confident to use different design styles and treatments
Attention to detail
Adaptability, flexibility
A good team player
Desirable:
Multimedia content development, video editing skills
